Dosage form: 

30 tablets in a PET including leaflet in the box. 

 

 

Ingredients: 

Cape aloe, Saffron, Chinese cinnamon, Mastic, Cinammon, Mecca myrrh wood, Mecca myrrh fruit, Indian valerian, Jujube.  

 

 

Indications: 

1)    Analgesic and relieve chronic pain and migraine.

2)    Relieve nervous tremor.

3)    Joint pain and rheumatoid arthritis.

4)    Treatment of bladder weakness. 

 

 

Mechanism of action:

Aloe can inhibit COX-1/COX2 enzymes so anti-inflammatory properties can be seen through inhibition of thromboxane and other inflammatory factors biosynthesis.Cinnamon is appetite stimulant and used in GI disorders because of cinamaldehyde and eugenol content. It can also reduce release of immune factors in inflammatory responses.

 

 

Dosage:

Unless otherwise prescribed, take two tablets at night. 

 

 

Side effects: 

Diarrhea, cramps, heartburn and anal discomfort is possible.  

 

 

Contraindications:

Obstruction of colon, inflammatory bowel disease, crohn ’s disease, ulcerative colitis, appendicitis and severe abdominal cramps with unknown source. For children below 12 years is not recommended. In case of allergy to any component of medicine.  

 

 

Interactions:

Digoxin, Diuretic, warfarin and other anthraquinone derivatives.

 

 

Precautions:

Recommended to take with mixture of honey and normal water.  

 

 

Using during pregnancy:  

Restricted due to anthraquinone compounds.  

 

 

Using during lactation: 

It may change the taste of milk.

It can cause abdominal cramp in infant.
