Dosage form: 

30 gram cream in an aluminum tube including leaflet in the box.  

Pharmaceutical category:

Topical Antiinflammatory.   Ingredients:  0.5% volatile oil and 5% extract of Matricaria recutita (German chamomile).

Indications:

1) Neuro dermatitis, Atopic dermatitis (eczema), Seborrheic dermatitis and contact dermatitis As well as insect bites.

2) Cracked of skin due to dryness, sun burn and nappy rash and milk crust.

3) Bedsore and wound healing.

Mechanism of action: 

Some components of Matricaria recutita extract have inhibitory effect on 5-lipoxygenase and cyclooxygenase enzymes which are responsible in producing inflammatory factors like prostaglandins.Chamomile anti-inflammatory effect is due to the flavones, especially apigenin, as well as ɑ-bisabolol, chamazulene and other volatile oil constituents.    

Dosage: 

Unless otherwise prescribed, apply locally 2-4 times per day to affected area.
