Dosage form:

200 ml emulsion in a PET, including leaflet and measuring cap inside the box.  

Ingredients: 

Fennel, Dodder, Anise, Red rose, Chicory, Cucumber seed, Melon seed, Celery seed, Caper root, Liquorice, Jujube, Grape vinegar.  

Indications: 

Liver tonic and repairing liver tissue. Drug of choice in co-treatment of fatty liver. Useful in treatment of liver cirrhosis. Useful in reduction of the side effects of chemotherapeutics.  

Mechanism of action:

Fennel and anise essential oils contain several active compounds like anethole, trans-anethole and caffeic acid derivatives and can reduce AST,ALT,ALP, Cholesterol and TG in fatty liver disease. Red rose, caper root, melon seed, chicory and celery root have high antioxidant power and hepatoprotective properties because of flavonoid and phenolics contents.

Dosage: 

Unless otherwise prescribed, dilute 10-20ml of syrup in a glass of water and drink three times per day. 

Side effects: 

Nothing important has been reported till now. 

Contraindications: 

Take with precaution in case of hypersensitivity to any component. 

Cautions: 

For better action, dilute the syrup with Chicory water or Fumitory water. 

Using during pregnancy: 

consult with physician. 

Using during lactation: 

It may change the taste of milk.
