Dosage form: 

100 tablets in the PET including leaflet inside a box.  

Ingredients: 

Chebulic myrobalan, Belleric myrobalan, Emblic myrobalan, Fumitory, Senna, Chinese rhubarb, Manna oak tree.  

Composition: 

FumaTrip or fumitory triphala contains liver and skin regenerator herbs such as fumitory, rhubarb and manna oak tree besides the myrobalans. Herbs such as senna and rhubarb are also laxative which excrete toxic substances, though it helps skin and liver health. 

Indications:

1- Pruritus, eczema, atopic eczema, skin inflammation and skin burns.

2- Skin allergies and skin rashes.

3- Useful in skin patches.

4- Useful in fatty liver and liver disorders.  

Mechanism of action:

Myrobalans have high antioxidant power because of Tannin content. Emblic myrobalan is high in Ascorbic acid and can be effective in mucous formation in gastrointestinal system.Fumitory has fumaric acid and fumaric acid esters suppress inflammatory factors produced by immune system like cytokine type I and can improve skin conditions like eczema.

Dosage: 

Unless otherwise prescribed, take 1-2 tablets after each meal.   

Side effects:

It may cause diarrhea and abdominal cramps which will reduce gradually during treatment period.   

Contraindications: 

In case of allergy to any component of medicine. 

Interactions:

With Digoxin, Antiarrhythmic drugs and laxatives.

Cautions:

1- If it prescribes with laxatives, the dosage of laxatives must be reduced.

2- Complete the treatment period which is at least 1-2 months.

3- If you forgot a dose, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. 

Using during pregnancy:

Restricted. 

Using during lactation:

It may change the taste of milk and may cause mild diarrhea in infants.
